P1520 Has to do with the alternator. An alternator is also called an AC generator. The engine computer controls the field circuit of the alternator. This enables the engine computer to control the output of the alternator. At the same time the alternator is sending a signal to the computer to show how much it is charging. The engine computer needs to know this information so it can adjust the idle speed in relation to alternator output. If the engine computer isn't getting that signal from the alternator when it is commanding the alternator to output, it will set that code.
A fault in the
wiring between the alternator and engine computer, the engine computer itself,
or the alternator can cause that code to set. The trouble chart tells you to
check the wiring first between the alternator and engine computer. You can
test for the signal from the alternator using a high end scan tool or scope, if you know what the signal is supposed to look like, to determine if the
alternator or engine controller is at fault.
Что означает ожидаемая ошибка? Она уже есть или еще нет?
От генератора идет какая-то проводка к ЭБУ двигателя?
Может есть еще какое значение ошибки Р1520?
